Bolingbrook
Bolingbrook is one of the newer Chicagoland suburbs, having been established in the early 1960s. Recently Bolingbrook’s Park District was named a finalist of the  National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park Management, Facilities, and Programs.  Their Park District includes many woodlands and parks, several community centers, and the Pelican Harbor Indoor/Outdoor Aquatic Complex (recognized by Chicago Magazine in April 2004).

Wheaton
Wheaton is located about 25 miles west of Chicago and Lake Michigan.  It was founded in 1831 and has a population of around 60,000 residents.  The Community Unit School District 200 provides Wheaton is public schooling, but Wheaton also offers many private schools for all ages.  Historical homes and architecture pepper the Downtown area, which also offers great dining and boutique shopping to all who walk the cobblestone streets.  The Wheaton Park District is a 4 time winner of the National Gold Medal Award for Excellence from the National Recreation and Park Association, this includes 52 parks that covers more that 800 acres of land.  Across town lies the Town Square Shopping Center and Danada, which again offers great dining and shopping but has a more modern style attached to them.   Any active person can certainly enjoy one of the three golf courses (Chicago Golf Club, Cantigny Park and Golf Course, and Arrowhead Golf Course), runs along the Illinois Prairie Path or Lincoln Marsh, or one can cool down at their choice of two public swimming pools.  For one looking to raise a family in a strong community, look no further that Wheaton.  It has something to offer for all ages.

Aurora

Naperville
